Delfeayo
Marsalis is a respected trombonist and producer.
He has toured internationally
with his own band and with jazz masters Art Blakey, Max Roach and Elvin
Jones. Mr. Marsalis has produced over 75 major-label recordings, which
have garnered several Grammy awards, a 3M Visionary Award, and over
1 million sales. He has been involved with jazz education for many years
and established Uptown Music Theatre in his hometown of New Orleans
in
2000. He holds a B.A. degree from Berklee College of Music and a M.A.
in jazz performance from the University of Louisville.
